Stable Spotlight - Quarter Horses

Welcome to Stable Spotlight! This issue’s featured breed is Quarter Horses.

Our first featured Quarter Horse is Flameth.  She is the NM TB from the QVC II set in glossy bay.  She is a great photo shower, having several championships as well as one overall grand in limited showing, all halter classes.  She will be debuting in performance events as soon as her tack is ready, competing in such diverse events as camp drafting, skijoring and cross-country.  Flameth (Canth [r] x Imafraidofamericans [M]) is a 1997 red bay QH mare by a racing sire (Raise Your Glass [TB] x Ever Hopeful [QH]) and out of a bay Appendix QH mare (American Promise [TB] by Secretariat x Jamie Sweetheart [QH]) bred to produce sport horse foals.  She is open 01-on. Next is Obscured By Clouds (Quart of Royal (Royal Quarterback [r] x Poco Showdown Missy) x Two Fox Sabrina [r] (Two Eyed Fox x Two Bar Julie)) a 1996 dapple rose grey Quarter Horse stallion.  He traces to Showdown, Two Eyed Jack, Dugar Bars, etc.  Obscured by Clouds is a Peter Stone ISH CM by Elizabeth Bouras and is Live show placed, IPABRA 2001 Top Ten CM Quarter Horses #6, IPABRA 2002 Top Ten CM Quarter Horses #2.  Open 1999+ for free.  Contact Chris Wallbruch at 321 N. Our next Quarter Horse is White Hot Smoke, (Hotroddin Good Bar x Smokable, Smokey Duster Too [r]) 1998 silver dapple stallion, OF Breyer SR "Brandywine."  Smoke is a new addition to RSF's show string and has yet to be tested in the ring.  However, his impeccable bloodlines speak for themselves:  both parents are multi-champions in the model horse world, paternal grandsire Zippos Mr Good Bar is an AQHA Superior Western pleasure horse, and maternal grandsire Smokey Duster Too is an AQHA Champion & superior halter horse.  First foals are due in 2000.  Take advantage of this exciting young stallion! Megabucks, a 1988 buckskin QH stallion, (Poco Ojos Grande ® by Poco Bueno x Sparkling Gold by Genuine Doc and out of World Champion Super Horse Diamond's Sparkle). His lines include:  King P-234, Wimpy P-1, Peppy P-212, Doc Bar, Blondy's Dude.  "Buck" is Carol Williams QHS1 resin.  He is a multi-champion live show horse and a multi-champion photo show horse.  FFC: 1992.  Photo of foal would be greatly appreciated!

Docotah Darq Blue, a 1993 blue roan QH stallion, (Merry Boy Hancock ® by Blue Boy Hancock x Docotah Twilight by Doc Woods ® by Poco Dell).  His lines include: Roan Hancock P-456, Leo P-1335, Poco Bueno P-3044, Beaver Creek P-3038, OK Star P-6, Midnight, Cowboy P-12 just to name a few.  "Blue" is a Stone OF ISH in blue roan and an excellent photo shower.  FFC:  1996.
