Triple's Titan is the Leading Sire of Halter Horses, and is also the Leading
Broodmare Sire of halter horses. He is a cropout son of Triple's Image, a Quarter

Scotch Bar Tommy is the second Leading Sire of Performance Horses. Tommy was
himself a National Champion in both Halter and Western Pleasure, and is probably
best known for producing Western Pleasure horses. Like most of the horses descending
from Sonny Dee Bar, he is a sabino, He may carry the frame gene as well, but
it is hard to tell with the type of pattern he displays.

Performance Horses. Gambling Man himself has earned the APHA Versatility Award
as well as the Superior All-Around Horse Award. He also earned an AA rating
at the track. He is a classically marked splash overo, and his photograph is
often used to illustrate that pattern.

Skip's Artist is the fifth leading sire of Performance Horses, and one of the
few tobiano Paints to appear on the Leading Sires list. Readers should note
the level of inbreeding in this horse. Inbreeding is not necessarily a sign
of bad breeding decisions; this horse came from the herd of master breeder Hank
Weiscamp (himself many times on the leading breeder's lists for Quarter Horses,
Paints, and Appaloosas.)

Macho Man was a two-time National Champion, and won over 50 Grand Championships
and Reserves, and retired from showing at two years old. He is the second Leading
Sire of Halter Horses. Among his many successful offspring is the young stallion
Mighty Awesome, who is number two on the list of for Halter Sires of 1998- outranking
his sire at number four. Most of Macho Man's offspring have been sabinos, but
he has sired frames from solid mares (his dam was a frame) so it is likely he
is a frame overo as well. He has sired a fairly large number of splashes as
well, so he may even carry that pattern, too, but it is hard to tell if the
pattern came from him or the mares.

Sockett belongs to a dynasty of great Paint stallions that descend from his
grandsire Mardelle Dixon. Sockett is the third Lifetime Leading Sire of Halter
Horses, and he is joined on that list by his sire (number 10), son Socketts
Imprint and grandson Sock Broker. His son Socketts Imprint is also the Leading
Sire of Halter Horses for 1998, while Sock Broker led the list for Point Earners
for 1998.
